TRANSITIONS® DRIVEWEAR®
SUN LENSES

Daytime light and weather conditions constantly change while driving and so do Transitions Drivewear sun lenses. Their NuPolar® polarization removes glare off the road and car hood. Transitions® photochromic technology adjusts the color and tint of the lenses as light conditions change, providing ideal color and clarity for driving:

  • In low light or overcast conditions, the lenses are a green/yellow color that provide high contrast and minimize glare
  • Behind the windshield, the lenses activate to a copper color enhancing color recognition and depth perception
  • In bright outdoor light, the lenses activate to a dark red-brown filtering excess light to provide maximum comfort
  • Lenses that work with most prescriptions and frames

Great lenses! However, no certificate of authenticity, behind the windshield performance is marginal and the transition colors are uneven around the edges when viewed from the front.

I have been wearing Drivewear for about three years now. Cannot image anything better for driving a Porsche fast all of the time. Drivewear can be a little dark for rapid night driving, but they cut the glare of oncoming head lights so well that it is a toss up whether they should be worn after dark or not. I had to use them for three months as my only indoor glasses. The polarization conflicts with my computers screens, but Apple makes lap tops where polarization is fine.

Finally a great solution for those that can only afford one pair of glasses. LOVE the color of Drivewear Lens.

They have really been working great, getting darker when needed. I think they are helping my vision while driving at night also.

I really am enjoying my new sunglasses for driving. I just wish the lenses got a little darker. This is completely a superficial thing, but I don't like that you can very clearly see my eyes through the lenses. They look different from normal/non-prescription sunglasses in their transparency. That is all. They get the job done and very well at that, just wish they were darker.

I love the color of the lens! They change great in direct light. However in direct setting sun light behind a windshield of my pick-up they do not tint down any different. They do make me squint some. I also wish they could change a little more inside buildings so I could just wear one pair of glasses all day and night. They are 100% better than the old transitions that would not tint in cars!!!

    Clearest Vision Ever

I normally prefer brown polarized lenses for driving and outdoor activities for their great visual contrast, but they never quite work during transitional light periods like dawn, dusk, and overcast skies. My DriveWear lenses have given me the best, clearest vision I have ever experienced under all of those conditions.

    Love the drivewear

I love the drivewear because the darken even more while driving. Does take a little longer to return to normal but with the bright sun and driving I'll handle the slower return to normal any day of the week.
