Eye-health-awareness program has target of 700 more children for year

The ‘Eye Didn’t Know That’ program designed to raise awareness of healthy sight and the need for regular eye tests for school children continues, with 700 more children to have their vision screened by the end of the year.

To date, the program, a partnership between Optometry Giving Sight and Transitions Optical partnership, has screened over 800 children from six schools. With a target of screening 1,500 children in this year, the program will visit three more schools before the end of October.
