To enjoy the sun safely and live a healthy life, you must protect both your skin and eyes from the sun's UV radiation all year long. I recommend that you:

  • Apply broad spectrum, SPF 30 or higher, sunscreen to all exposed areas (and remember to reapply after vigorous activity or sweating)
  • Wear eyewear or sunglasses that block 100% of UVA/UVB radiation and 20%+ of harmful blue light indoors and 80%+ outdoors
  • Wear a wide-brimmed hat
  • Wear sun protective clothing
